a flicker flared
sent to wander
about my room
a passing dream
we won't remember
the potent ruse
the glassy gleam
captured never
we play the fools
our entire lives
held together
in a neural bloom
as the thick royal
blue daylight
slips away
a slow procession
of headlights
has will to wade
its wavering way
through windows splayed
and at the wall
each brightened stalls
'til filled with light
they singe the sight
and spilling wide
begin to slide
in fast ascent
from existence
these cold corners are
airy borders on
a dream gone by morning
lit here briefly
and abandoned silently
a flicker flared
sent to wander
about my room
a passing dream
we won't remember
the potent ruse
the glassy gleam
captured never
we play the fools
our entire lives
held together
in a neural bloom
there is beauty
there is beauty
there is beauty like no other
there is beauty
there is beauty like no other
there is beauty in solitude
